  1. Hi Nicole, My property is flat, except for one small slope which is a shame, because I happen to love a garden that rolls down a slope, especially one that is filled with interesting rocks and lots of ground covers. A tapestry of groundcovers can be so beautiful.

  2. I know...this is a great example because it creates such amazing movement in the garden. The article about these homeowners from New York is very interesting. Their main priority was to create access to all areas so as to better tend to their plants and to have different vantage points by establishing different areas to sit along the way. To help with erosion they lined one whole path with raspberry bushes. It is a fun space!
