What are you liking these days?
Happy first day of September!
You are having a fun summer!! That table is a solid score. I love that my little guy partook in an olive oil and vinegar tasting with me this afternoon. I saw wendy's wish this weekend at a huge nursery sale and I agree it is fantastic. It might overwinter here... I'm in zone 8 and it bottoms out at zone 9. But geesh, it is on sale... I might pair it with some purple basil for a hot fall container.
ReplyDeleteLovely post! I can very much relate to the toy digger in the yard. ;) Looking forward to that table makeover. It has good bones. lol
ReplyDeleteNicole, how is it already September? Time is speeding up. I wish I could press a pause button.
Ohhh I am totally liking this post! I think I need to be outside enjoying nature right now! I can't wait to see what you do with the table and I love the inspiration photo! Hugs Nicole!
ReplyDeleteAWESOME pictures!! And I love, love, love that inspiration bedroom photo. I could sleep there!
ReplyDeleteAhh delicious summer! What a good exercise to consciously think about what you're "liking' these days, funny enough this is EXACTLY what we'll be doing on our blog this month, xpt we're calling it "30 days of sexy" - it's the same idea- take pictures daily of what is sexy, alluring, happy to you that day! September is a good month for that as we reset and get ready for a big seasonal change. And what magnets are little boys for getting their feet wet :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like your all enjoying the great outdoors.
ReplyDeleteHappy September to you too! Love the butterfly photo and the little digger!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing what happens to the table in it's transformation.
Yo've got great inspirations there -- both the glossy magazine ones and your own photos. Love the big yellow workin' machine in the garden : )
ReplyDeletegorgeous photos-Loved the ducks and the one with your son-I am loving that we finally got a cool down for a bit-and a little rain too-Happy September
ReplyDeleteWhat am I liking these days? That lovely bedroom for starter! Looking forwar dto seeing the table. I love the exploring photos and I am very jealous of the tomatoes, I never seem to get enough sun in the UK to turn them red so I went for gherkins this year which are coming on a treat. Jo x
ReplyDeleteI so enjoy seeing photos of your "beans!" They remind me on my little ones ... once upon a time. My youngest just left for college (2nd year). Our older one is also in college! I'm so proud of who they have become but LOVE gentle reminders of those precious day of little folks in the house!! Looking forward to seeing how that project turns out!!
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Your daughter's shot is actually quite artistic! Lovely photos, my friend and can't wait to see what you're going to do with the oak table.
ReplyDeleteloving these days especially. Such a great shot of the endangered monarch butterfly! Love the oak table - can't wait to see how it ends up!
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice table. These days I'm liking getting ready to go on vacation in a few weeks. I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteLove those pictures of your little boy in the water! We used to have a creek in our backyard, and it's one of the few things I really miss about our old house. And jealous of your tomatoes! I started mine too late, and I don't know if we'll get any :(. And can't wait to see the table all finished :)
ReplyDeleteWow, so much to like, especially those tomatoes!! I like sundays, I get to spend time with my hubby and we usually go have a nice dinner out. It is odd that we work together everyday but come sunday, it is different, no work involved just relaxing in the pool and enjoying our little life in the big city!
ReplyDeleteI read this post when you first put it up, but must've been called to dinner and didn't comment! Love the shots of your young man ... gorgeous mop of blond curls ;) Love your ideas for the girls' room, and that table's going to look really snappy with a makeover! I need to find something to makeover quick before I loose my momentum. Have a great week Nicole! Wendy x

ReplyDeleteI just had missed this post. Lovely picture of your little son exploring the river, favourite picture of the day I think. You found a nice table at the farmers sale, may be you have transformed it already in a nice piece for your children's room.
