Hey girly, I am glad it dried up enough to get out and take some photos! I like all of the hostas you have planted! They really enhance the woodland feel to your garden. Is that a honeysuckle blooming in the first photo? It looks like a honeysuckle but the leaves are not quite right. I hope you have a good weekend too :)
It looks so relaxing! I am jealous of the mature look of your garden. I feel like I still have a bunch of mulchy areas in mine. Those are some giant hostas you've got there!
Oh sure, you get dry weather and I've been in pouring down rain and temps in the 40's all week. How is that fair? :) It's so fun to see the same plants that I have in my garden on the other side of the country. Love seeing pictures of your yard!
It's the little touches that are enchanting -- that unpainted picket fence, the children's garden tools lying by the garden, and the quiet sun dappled ferns. It's all lovely!
Dear Nicole, you've been holding out on us! You've shown tiny glimpses of a garden every now and then, but now you've introduced us to this beautiful yard of full-on beauty! You have a lovely garden with a definite woodland feel to it ... have a wonderful weekend yourself, and I hope the sun comes back to warm us all again soon :) Wendy
SOOOOOOOOOOOOO jealous - such a lush backyard - trade ya' in a heartbeat, girl! The music is still playing as I write - I can picture you and The Beans dancin' a path around all that beautifulness! Happy weekend, girl - hope it's filled with music and flowers! XOXO
What a gorgeous garden! I have a question--what is the plant with the red and chartreuse leaves that you have in the container with the petunias? A coleus? It certainly is pretty! I'd love to know the variety if you happen to know.
What a fun song to dance too!! I personally wanted to clog with a little square dancing on the side! I love your Garden!!! You do an amazing job! So beautiful Nicole!!
Thanks for the eye and ear candy in this post. You must be so happy to have gardening weather. I am still looking for some of the flowers you have shown me.
Coool Song!!! Love the garden, you know I am the most jealous commentor, I can't grow beans! I envy you and the lushness that you can dance around in! Have a wonderful end of spring! Summer is closing in, I can't wait!!!
Ohhhh, what a gorgeous blog! My garden is my project for the summer, I even had a little lesson in gardening from my aunty the other day and feel itching to get stuck in! Following.Rx
Hi Nicole, Thanks so much for your lovely comment on my blog. So great to meet another fellow gardener {and blogger:)}. Loved the song - very cool and love that garden gate! Are you in the US? x
Your garden is so lush and green and beautiful! Love the weigela! I have the same perennial geranium as you do. I found it, free of charge, at an abandoned greenhouse last summer. The bank had done an auction and whatever was left, anyone could go and get so I got a lot of plants! I noticed the miniature rose I got there has a bud on it. Your garden looks great!
That is a snappy song. I would not have guessed Black Crowes. You garden is looking good, but really has that homey feel. Must be that colorful broom and leaf rake!
Yay Nicole - it's our time of year!! LOVE everything, thank-you for sharing..... your style of gardening is free & everything blends together so well & healthy!! ... I would like to be a little less planful in my own gardening.... I'm working on it with inspiration from others ;-)
Have a great week my sweet friend, hope you'll be digging & a little dirty... I know I will be :)
Your garden is wonderful! I love the hydrangea and the hostas. Thank you so much for dropping by L'Heure Bleue At Home. I had a bit of a blogging hiatus but your comments and visits keep me motivated to continue blogging!
