Thursday gardening....


Happy Thursday everyone!  Just popping in with a few shots from the garden today....

A new container I made for part shade to shade....Penniserum Trispecific (Black Stockings), begonia hybrid (Peagasus), white begonias (Clara), and a purple sweet potato vine 


And a shot from the front garden....


Make it a good one...the garden is calling!

    Your gardens always look so lush and inviting Nicole! You are doing a fantastic job with everything there. I just read back a few posts to catch up with you. Love that you're working with the kids on their own garden. I like those posts held in the pots with cement ... great idea. And such a clever thought that the girls want shiny blue rocks for water! Maybe you need to make some stepping stones across that water too? You are so very creative, and it would appear your beans are right there with you in that department ;) Happy gardening!!

    Hey friend! Your garden looks so lush and green and I can smell that good quality air it generates way over here. Your containers look great- it's given me some great ideas, I really fall down in that department. I can see how great your mulch is, it's on my list!     The shade planters look very nice! I like having a mixture of planters and ground plants. Makes for variety! :) Plus, they are portable!

    Great container, I like how unusual it is to add dark hues.
    Can it live inside, too? Because I can totally see it complimenting a living room.
    Won't the sweet potato (so cool to use that as a vine!) need more sun?

    It must be wonderful to have gardening weather finally.

    We had 2 torrential downpours for 15 minutes each yesterday and soft rain in between. My garden is so happy.

    Yes, the garden is calling. The weeds are on speed dial. Here in Canada it is a long weekend, so hopefully there will be lots of gardening. Love the first container planting especially Nicole. Have a great weekend!
