Welcome to My Garden Diaries! I'm glad you popped by! My name is Nicole and I am an artist with a love for the garden and design.
I like to think of my blog as a collection of all of the many passions that inspire me to create. My Garden Diaries is a mix of gardening, design, art, dIY projects and the list goes on! Though I started this blog journey in 2011, it wasn't until the summer of 2012 that I committed myself to the process. Since then, I can honestly say that it has been a beautiful experience. Being a part of the blogging community has fueled my creativity and inspired me to do more! And I'm just getting started!
I want to thank Vicki at 2 Bags Full for hosting the party and for giving us all this opportunity.
I'm excited to not just GROW my blog, but to make connections, learn, and get inspired!
The giveaway is near and dear to my heart. I couldn't think of anything better to giveaway than a stunning print from my sister Elizabeth's collection.
This print is part of a collection called Dormant. While I appreciate the hope and renewal of the greens and blooms in spring and summer, I have found an understated silent beauty in these sleepy plants doing important work and I hope you will too.
This print has been professionally printed (12x12), is in a shadow-box frame (20 1/2x 20 1/2) and is the 3rd of 100 prints.

Hello Nicole - I am here from 2 Bags Full.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is inspirational. I live in an apt with shade on my patio. But after looking at your post about "Making the Most of Shade," I am rethinking my poor-me attitude. I am going to be getting the book and see what I can do.
I like plants better than shoes too. When I lived in a house (that had lots of sun and room for plants), I would come home with new plants every week. I shopped at one particular store because it had groceries and a nursery.
what a beautiful picture! Your sister is very talented and your family is beautiful! I want to invite your kids over for a play date with my daughter
ReplyDeleteHi. I found your great blog thru the party. I would love to be entered in your giveaway.

Hi, Nicole - dropping by from the GYB Party. beautiful stuff happening here, starting with those gorgeous beans of yours! I will live vicariously through your gardening blog, since I live in the desert and most things I plant here make it a few months, tops, between the ground squirrels and the heat! Hope your week is warm and wonderful! Glad I happened along here. Tanya
ReplyDeleteHi Nicole, here I am from my blog and from the GYB hop. You've done a fantastic job with the hydrangias and the burlap ribbon and table runner. I hope you had a lovley ceremony.
