Hey Nicole, Great combo! Don't you just love Lamb's ears? Are you creating a moon garden? They are so beautiful in the evening. Enjoy your weekend with your little and not so little beans! xx
Your garden is going to look even more beautiful than it already is. If I didn't know better I would think you are making a moon garden. A friend of mine has one and when we are outside in the early evening and the moon shines down on them they seem to light up the whole back yard.
Love that lambs ear - I used to love stroking the leaves when I was a child. (still do actually). Does your ornamental onion spread? A moon garden sounds great too.
My late mom was visually impaired and she loved to "touch" the lamb's ears. We also had a variety of plants that when rubbed between your fingers, were fragrant.
Hello Nicole They're all lovely! That's quite a different Lambs Ears to mine, which is Stachys Byzantina, it has a longer leaf and a lilac/purple flower! I haven't seen the white catmint here, but I will have to seek it out now!. Autumn/Winter is when I do my garden planning and write copious lists of plants and ideas in my garden notebook! Enjoy your weekend Nicole Hugs Shane
My girls love those furry ears. I was listening to gardeners Question time on BBC radio four and a member of the audience asked the panel of experts "when is the best time to take cuttings? (of a particular plant)" and the expert joked, " when no one is looking!!" I was in the car on my own and was chuckling away and knew I had to share that with you. Happy weekend lady... Jo x
Such a beautiful foliage, I have never seen the Lamb's ear before. The ornamental onion is look like the flower of my garlic chives, but the ornamental onion looks more compact. Have a wonderful weekend and happy gardening!
I love white in a garden, it is a nice restful contrast to some of my more colourful plants. They have the added benefit of being almost iridescent in dusk, such great ideas! Happy gardening !
Lovely plants, especially the lamb's ear. It's something I'd like to grow next year for the carder bees. Everything is looking so healthy, you have truly green fingers Nicole. Enjoy the rest of the weekend. CJ xx
