In 2011 I started this blog as a way to share my passion for gardening and design. I studied painting in college and went on to teach art and 2nd grade. My love for the garden has kept me busy not only in my own garden but working towards receiving my certificate in garden design. With busy little beans by my side I work in the evenings on creating gardens for local clients. My goal is to create contemporary garden designs while keeping in mind the need for sustainable elements in the garden to better the environment.
My art background contributes to my design passion while I look for new ways to put things together in both interior and exterior spaces. But my biggest inspiration is my family as they push me to grow and learn everyday. So happy you stopped by!

nicole your commnet on my painting means so much . coming from an learned artist..OMG...Ive had 2 lessons ...I have been painting regularly about 6 months..I sent my painting photo to my last teacher and she just said"it looks good to me,keep practicing and you will learn" anyway it wasn't the effusive praise i was hoping for haha...i was disappointed....different part of me wanted to quit ( I think I have no potential) but another part strives to prove them wrong lol
ReplyDeleteHmmm...we may be wired similarly. lol I completely get what you are saying and chuckled that you wish to have an oasis for a yard. I tell my hubby the same thing. If only he can see my vision in my head. ;)
